Graduated in Geography from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto in 2012, João Tomás acquired love for climatology during his degree, and especially during his Master's in Risks, Cities and Spatial Planning, which ended in 2016.
He has specialised in Risk Prevention and Spatial Planning, having participated in several colloquia on these topics. Currently, João Tomás is studying a Master's degree in Geography teaching at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning / Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon, and he teaches in the third cycle and in secondary school. As a teacher, his role is to help students understand climatology, meteorology, and all associated phenomena. He has been collaborating as an editor at Meteored since June 2019.
