Rita Caeiro graduated in Journalism from the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS) in 2020. In the same year, she began a postgraduate programme in Social Education and Community Intervention at the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa (ESELX).
While still on her degree, she completed a period of mobility under the Erasmus programme at La Sapienza University in Rome (Italy), a city that sparked her interest in travel and gastronomy.
In 2024 she decided to take on a new challenge and become a writer for Meteored, the tempo.pt team. She had previously worked and collaborated as a writer for lifestyle media such as NiTtravel, New In Seixal, New in Setúbal and the newspaper A Voz de Pontével. She was also food editor at NiT magazine.
Her career also includes content creation and social media management. In her spare time she invests in getting to know new cultures and realities through traveling.
She has had a passion for writing ever since she was little. She remembers saving her first texts because she wanted to create a book with them. Later came the desire to change the world through words - hence the dream of journalism.
